The home entertainment arm and production studio swiftly achieved commercial success, driven by its Seduction Cinema “sexy spoofs” such as the Gladiator Eroticus, Lord of the G-strings and Play-Mate of the Apes. By 2000, films from the studio could be found on network broadcast, retail, e-tail and across the globe, bringing international awareness to the company and its young star, Misty Mundae. Nearly 25 years since its inception, Alternative Cinema maintains a vibrant home entertainment network encompassing an e-tail store, the largest semi-annual cult film catalog, and a library of 300+ in-house and licensed horror, sci-fi, sexploitation and cult movies.
